In fact Madeira. The Portuguese island out in the wild Atlantic. Our twin town there is the mountain top town of Camacha-mainly because it was the birthplace of our first Portuguese Mayor. Well, most (read ‘all’) of Madeira is up a mountain, which is about right for a volcanic outcrop in the middle of the ocean. But it’s an ideal place for a visit and we’ve already taken singers and mayors and tourists over there and welcomed the same back over here.
