The harbour at Tucepi on the Croatian Riviera

We visit Croatia a lot. As do the Czechs who think it’s Czechia-on-Sea. Sometimes we go together. But Croatia is a long country. One massive coastline topped by rugged mountains and peppered with delightful little Adriatic  islands. But we don’t have a twin town there…we just go there. Mainly flying to Split and heading down to Makarska or Podgora on the Croatian Riviera. But we also head down to Dubrovnik in the far south or up to Pula in the high north.

TopTips

1 The Croatian Riviera;- fly to Split or Dubrovnik and it’s midway between. Towns of Makarska, Podgora and Tucepi are all next to each other. Good location to take boat trips to the islands of Hvar and Brac. Easy access to Bosnia (Mostar)
