For a decade we cultivated relations with Hungary. We made good friends in the capital Budapest and especially in the rural town of Sarvar. We ran many projects -football, music, film students, business links. We aimed to twin with Sarvar. But we lost contact after we engaged too actively in the politics of that troubled country. We don’t regret doing that, because their Government is appallingly right wing and we chose to openly support the left -who didn’t win. We miss our friends and we’d like to do projects together again.
