This is a funny old year for internationalism. Britain’s outside the EU, there’s wars in Ukraine, Palestine and Iran and masked arseholes are trying to stop a minimal number of refugees seek sanctuary on south coast beaches. An odd year to think ‘Twinning’ might have ever been the solution. But…..we’ll keep at it. Let’s take a look at 2026
March 16-28
Carla’s Italian students visit Bridgwater for their annual work experience. They stay at Model Farm and for their weekend away go to Chester and Snowdonia then spend 3 nights in London
April 27-May 3
I take 2 Americans (Peggy and Doug) around the Normandy battlefields of France then to Mont StMichel, Blois and Paris
May 9-15
I take 4 Americans (organised by Joe Shea) around Wales including Tenby, St Davids and Snowdonia before they head off to Ireland

Petra from Arabska Gymnasium Prague brings Czech students to Devon and Cornwall
June 4-6
UH Mayor Stanislav Blaha brings a civic group to take part in the Petanque Tournament (5 June) and the Twinning Gala (6 June)

Andrea brings some Czech families and their kids on a round Scotland tour

Matt Bartlett takes a Midnight Mango tour to theColours of Ostrava Festival in czech republic
